In this fast paced and biting sequel to Ibsen's A Doll's House, a woman who broke free of all society's constraints must return to the family she left behind to secure her hard-won freedom, and reckon with the price everyone has paid for it.
This performance will run roughly one hour and twenty minutes, followed by a reception.

Paris-based bandoneonist Fabrizio Colombo, acclaimed local pianist Sumi Lee and genre- bending violinist Basma Edrees present an evening of captivating solo and duo performances, blending contemporary arrangements with original compositions. From intimate, soulful melodies to exhilarating rhythms, this concert explores tango’s evolving landscape with artistry and innovation. Colombo’s expressive bandoneon and Lee’s dynamic piano weave a musical dialogue that is both timeless and daring. Whether you’re a longtime tango lover or discovering its magic for the first time, this unforgettable night will ignite your senses and stir your soul.
Banda Sin Nombre combines folk music from around the world with performance art, drag, and dance. With creative roots in San Francisco’s Mission District, the band features rich vocal harmonies with acoustic instruments including guitar, fiddle, accordion, charango, jarana, cajon, and upright bass. The band’s musical influences range from Peruvian chicha to Catalan rumba and Appalachian old time to Cumbia.

El Gaucho Perdido (Lost Horseman) The Lee Boero Tango Duo takes to the stage to premiere their new EP, a daring collection of contemporary tango compositions that fuse tradition with fresh ideas. The album’s title track, El Gaucho Perdido, mesmerizes with its haunting slow milonga rhythm and the uncommon pulse of 5/4 meter. Adding to the diverse soundscape, Choro y Luna blends tango with the vibrant sway of Brazilian rhythms. With intricate arrangements, passionate melodies, and a dynamic interplay between piano and bandoneón, this concert offers an exhilarating, modern take on tango’s evolving landscape. Experience a day of rhythm, emotion, and musical storytelling like never before.
Bay Area cellist James Jaffe joins forces with Elektra Schmidt for a concert of their favorite duos cello and piano.
The program consists of Beethoven's penultimate sonata for this ensemble Op. 102 no.1, Schumann's Fantasiestücke, Op. 73, Sergei Rachmaninov's Vocalise, Op. 34, No. 14 and Astor Piazzolla's Le Grand Tango.

LA GENTE SF is an international recording and touring artist born in the eclectic city of San Francisco and is currently based in Madrid, Spain. The group is led by Rafael Sarria Bustamante: singer-songwriter and voting member of the Recording Academy/Grammy's. LA GENTE SF has created their own unique blend of World Music, Cumbia, Reggae, Salsa, and Reggaeton. Their music and live shows fuse together rhythms, dances and cultural influences from all over Latino America and the Caribbean with a distinct San Francisco flavor, to create an infectious, high energy dance party. The band is currently on their 2024 World Tour.
Experience the hauntingly beautiful Dichterliebe ("A Poet's Love") by Robert Schumann, performed by pianist Chelsea Wong and tenor Kevin Gino. Set to the soul-stirring poetry of Heinrich Heine, this deeply emotional song cycle explores the nuances of love, longing, and heartbreak.
Elderflora is a 60-minute electro-acoustic song cycle on the life and death of a tree. Created by composer-performer Majel Connery and performed by Connery and Felix Fan (cello), Elderflora crosses Classical harmonies and electronic soundscapes to evoke the tree’s inner world.
In 2025, the duo will be performing select shows for acoustic piano trio and/or for electric guitar (Matt Walsh).
